Hobby Time with Family

By now, Bilal had slowly started speaking little words of his own… and somehow, animals had already become part of his tiny world too. ❤️

Sometimes he himself would drag me towards pet shops nearby just to look around. One day he pointed excitedly towards pigeons, and like always, I couldn’t say no. So I got a pair of Bhopali Racers — the famous “udaan wale kabootar.” 🕊️ But true to their name, they flew away at the very first opportunity they got… never to return again. Maybe I accidentally left the cage door open, maybe fate simply wanted them free. Whatever the reason, I realized one thing that day: winged birds were probably not my cup of tea. 😄 Then one evening, Bilal noticed a fluffy woolly lamb tied outside a local shop nearby. It was unbelievably soft, furry, calm, and cute. And at that moment, I realized something funny… Maybe my son was less of a “goat lover” and more of a “sheep lover.” 🐑🤍 That year, life itself was also changing beautifully for us. My wife was expecting, and soon our daughter Afiyah would enter our lives. So this time, I planned something special — a jodi for qurbani. One goat and one sheep together. And unlike previous years, I decided to buy them much earlier, before Ramzan itself, so they would have enough time to settle, eat properly, become healthy, active, and comfortable before Eid-ul-Adha. Honestly, my preference was never about extreme weight gain or showing off size. I simply wanted the animals to be well-fed, healthy, relaxed, and happy during their stay with us. So finally, I brought home: a Malwa-Kota cross bakra… and a beautiful Merino sheep. 🐐🐑 This time, instead of keeping them personally at home from day one, I kept both animals at Mufaiz’s setup itself for almost three months. But those months taught me something priceless. By visiting regularly — especially on weekends — I slowly started understanding how an actual palai setup works behind the scenes. How daily feed is prepared. How diet changes according to weather and age. What deworming actually means. Why liver tonics are given. Why calcium supplements matter. How infections are prevented. How traders identify weakness, fever, digestion issues, and stress in animals. Slowly, all those small details became deeply fascinating to me. And honestly… being physically present there taught me far more than hundreds of YouTube videos ever could. Because screens can show information… but real-life experience gives understanding. 🌙✨ #Bakrebazi #QurbaniDiaries #AnimalLover #SheepLover #BakraLife #FarmLife #VillageSoul #PetMemories #DesiLife #Sukoon #Barakah #GoatFarm #SheepFarm #MerinoSheep #SojatGoat #MalwaGoat #Kalyan #BakraEid #EidUlAdha #Qurbani2022 #TabelaLife #Gaushala #RuralIndia #IndianMuslims #ChildhoodMemories #NatureConnection #SimpleLiving #EmotionalPost #Storytelling #FamilyMoments #Bilal #ParentingMoments #PetStories #LivestockLife #Palai #GoatBreeding #DesiVibes #MonsoonMemories #Heartwarming #TraditionalLifestyle
